A satire set in the overcrowded Washington, DC of AD 2080, THE BILLIONTH AMERICAN focuses on Burgess Huxley, a young employee at the Federal Bureau of the Census, and the chaotic events in his life leading up to the massive July 4th “Billionth American Celebration” ironically honoring the illegitimate birth of that citizen. The hero discovers a government Census cover-up that triggers a series of wild adventures.

An Ivy League graduate, Huxley suffers from a congenital deformity,a rare condition producing an extra thin torso and limbs. He wears a special prosthetic “Thick Suit’ to look normal, and is treated at the Human Genome Institute in the nation’s capitol (now Washtown,DC-- District of Civility) where he meets and falls in love with a beautiful Clinical Geneticist named Dr. Silvia Glasnost MD.
