Description

There have always been Glennisters at Glenmuir but, for Andy, an employee of the estate, the family is little more than a blight on the Highlands. What is the connection between him and Nicky Glennister, the young laird of Glenmuir, and what of the strange creature that legend says roams the land?

I found this story rather slow and drawn out, but what it lacked in pace it made up for in the author’s talent for vividly painting scenes both physical and emotional. The scenery and characters lingered in my mind long after the story was over. It was lovely and well crafted and I’d recommend it to anyone who appreciates good narrative.
