I was pleasantly surprised by this book. At the beginning, Jason uses his invisibility to be a voyeur and I thought that it was going to be a series of erotic scenes. Instead a plot developed, Jason developed as a character and I was charmed.

Wow! Too bad I did not read this book in the dead of winter snow storms 'cause this puppy was sizzlin'!!

I have recommended Amulet to a few friends and I can't wait to meet to discuss it. I will post my review on Amazon and Goodreads as well. I loved this book.

The life lessons were meaningful, characters well developed, hot erotic scenes, just enough twist and turns embedded within the story to hold your interest outside of the erotica.

Looking forward to Amulet 2!

Very enjoyable read. The characters are realistic and likeable (well, the ones that you're supposed to like, that is). I love the author's intro where he says he tried to write a story without a plot but one accidentally made its way in. The plot is well developed and all the loose ends are tied up by the end. It's sexy and sweet and romantic.

Surprisingly well written. Believable characters, intesting plot. Much more than just another sex book, the sex is secondary to the character development. It was so good I re-read a lot it, not something I'd bother with in just another fuck book. Being a romantic, I also liked the summing up and generally happy endings, but I'm curious about the final conversation between Jason and Becky, what did they actually talk about.

Looking beyond the erotic scenes which were of course very well executed, this is an interesting young adult eye opener about true love and even showed the difference between mere sex and making love.It was enjoyable and well worth the read. Thumbs up for the author!

I originally read this when it was a 5 part series. Each was an enjoyable quick read and together they make up an interesting story. The series was well written, humorous and racy in some parts- worth the read. I enjoyed The Amulet and will definitely look into some other works by this author.

My only quibble is with the Smashwords formatting for the Kindle which mutilates the display title for the book (instead of The Amulet we see "tmp 214c1bb9b7f871c05f82216dbd0538f7") which is not attractive on the Kindle. But that's a Smashwords problem, not one with the book. Well worth a read!!

Amulet is a MUST read! The characters are well written, especially the main character, Jason. The author did an excellent job of creating an erotic thriller that is both sexy and stimulating. Jason, as the main character is very likable and draws the reader into his world of intrigue and raunchiness. Throughout all five parts, the reader is kept in suspense as he deals with a powerful amulet and a powerful love.
