About Alex Clermont

Alex Clermont [Me] is a writer born and raised in New York City. He has been a contributing writer to “Beyond Race Magazine” and “Turntable Magazine,” covering and interviewing independent artists and musicians. He was the managing editor of “Plateau,” a quarterly print magazine that focused on independent musicians.

He has been published in the anthologies Out Of Place, The Bodega Monthly, Every Second Sunday and the online literary magazine “Scholars and Rogues” and “Foliate Oak.”

In May 2012 he independently released his first book, “Eating Kimchi & Nodding Politely,” which is a collection of narratives about his time as an English teacher in South Korea.
