This is a story of magic. In it are shape shifters, witches, goblins, and adventure. The Viking world was one of constant danger and mystery with many of the mysteries left hidden even today.

She felt she had no choice, but to marry the strange Viking and hope the women's talk of his being a "monster", well, she just hoped this was not true.
Theirs is a marriage of convenience, and they are strongly attracted to each other, but fates seem to be pulling them apart at every turn. When the murders began, no one was safe.
