I'm a huge fan of vampire romances (among other genres), so I was happy to find this. I was not disappointed. It was much better than I had anticipated given some of the reviews. Day's characters are the kind that you can connect with, even though they are so different from ourselves. Definitely one that I would recommend to my girlfriends!

The story had no chance to really get flushed out and I find myself at page 37 at the end of the novel with it says it has over 50 pages...

It was a great little short read. I do ever so love vampire stories. I'm not much for Historical / Regency type books but I liked this one. The characters were well done for such a short book.

I really like the story. It's short and simple. I wish to see this couple more in Syliva's future works.

The story was really great, but I hadn't expected it to end so soon.

Explicit and erotic, but romantic as well. I'm not really into vamp books, but this one was good. The plot was decently developed and the characters were too.

As an FYI, at 56% through the book (according to Stanza), the book is over, and the rest is bio and excerpts from other books. I was a bit shocked that it was over when I was only at 50% - not that the story didn't end well, because it did, but it's quite deceiving to think you're at 50% through a story only to realize it's over.
