We stood there staring at the shed as the older boys played their flashlight beams on it. I started thinking that maybe this is the blob man’s house and not some trick being played by the older boys. Just then butch the ring leader, right on cue yelled out “Look, there’s the blob man now.” That was the signal. Butch and all the older boys took off running in different directions with their flashlights shining wildly through the trees and left all of the younger boys to be lost, in the dark at the blob man’s house.Tags
