Short description

Archie has never worked in an Is Shop before, although he's learning fast. Things are not that straightforward though: the proprietor is decidedly odd, the shop only stocks what the last person wanted and the customers are uncommonly rude. But things are to get stranger still...

Extended description

The Is Shop is a humorous short story (length 3909 words) which is based around the concept of a fractal (hence the front cover). I've tried to use a semi-structured approach to the story but varied it enough to keep it interesting.

Clever, amusing and (as far as I'm aware) original. A true gem.

I won't discuss the plot as I don't want to spoil ANYTHING for new readers, but I strongly recommend this story.

This story was adorable, hilarious and completely unpredictable. GREAT job! I wish there was an Is Shop near me as well.

(chortle) Delightful! Benoit Mandelbrot would be proud of you. Though I'm not sure readers unfamiliar with the properties of fractal patterns would enjoy it as much as I did. Well done! And remember:
