Extended description

Artificial life (AL) was named by Christopher Langton, an American computer scientist in 1986, is a field of study which explores systems related to life, its processes, and its evolution through simulations using computer models, robotics, and biochemistry. Artificial life studies the logic of living systems in artificial environments A system is a set of interacting or interdependent components forming an integrated whole. There are three genres of Artificial Life which are as follows:

1) Soft Artificial Life: This came from software. We are talking about software in the form of purely digital model that simulates a life like behaviors.

2) Hard Artificial Life: This came from hardware. Here we explore hardware implementation to simulate real life like behaviors.

3) Wet Artificial Life: This came from biochemistry. Also called as Synthetic life and the term is used to the creation of a living system "from scratch", that is from isolated building blocks. This is different from ro.. (Read more)
