Caitlin hasn't heard from Anna for several months, and although the death threat brings them together again, she isn't ready to just take Anna back. Caitlin doesn't want anyone to kill her ex-girlfriend either, so after she escapes, she makes sure Anna is safe while on the road, and race team co-owner Theo Alexander makes sure Caitlin stays in a high security apartment complex in Winston-Salem while she's going to physician assistant classes. He also pays for Robert Kinross, an ex-SAS soldier working "the private side" to pay expenses. Caitlin joins Anna when their schedules match, but it's not easy.
