Ebook Description

When Alison was little she thought every family had a drunk violent father and a stressed out mother with no money in her purse. Bewildered by the chaos she drew pictures in the air and tried to memorise lines from "The A Team" or "Knight Rider", only her stutter prevented her from getting them right. When she was a teenager she just wanted to escape. Along came the boys, the booze and the drugs.

An inspiring read. I completed this book in one sitting. I could not put Alison's story down. It is encouraging to read Alisons amazing recovery from a traumatic childhood of alcohol abuse, drug addictions and various difficult relationships. Her story is a testament to love and hope.

Hey dear,
I just purchased your book and read it to page 40 already. Phew, you've been through a lot, and unfortunately a lot reminds me of my own childhood and past. I can relate.
And I know that people coming from such backgrounds either became desperate wrecks or much stronger persons than others. I know that you are an infinite strong person for sure.
I will definitely go on reading.
All the best to you,
Carrie (from 30BaD though I have left that place)
