Short description

Shady Hazy is a jack of all trades, of sorts. He'd do just about anything for the right amount of cash. He even did the odd hit if times were tough. More than one person had snuffed it so Shady could pay the rent on time. He is also able to read people's thoughts, it's how he stays one step ahead of the game. Will his abilites be enough when he has to hunt down a criminal who can control minds?

It was a good read although I but the ending was not very clear - it took me a while to realize that the number was being implanted into his mind as opposed to that he was reading it... interesting!

Shady Hazy is a Sam Spade type of private investigator with psychic powers, which are illegal. He therefore has to do what the authorities want, or they'll jail him. It's an interesting premise, one that could be used for several stories. Readers who enjoy the PI genre and Sci Fi should read this.
