A once prosperous city is in ruins, and it's people reduced to mere animals. Nothing more than beasts of burden. They tear down their homes piece by piece, building the Brask Empire. A story of courage and determination. This book sparks the imagination and transports the reader into the mind of the main character. A definite 'must read' for all Science fiction/ Fantasy readers! I am eagerly anticipating the next installments! This one gets 5 stars with ease!

Great imagination, excellent story line. In fact.......an epic saga.

Has everything a reader could want; destiny, honor, rebellion, anger, love, intrigue, suspense, strength, power, manipulation, and produced in a science fiction setting.

From what I understand, it was years in the making, and the finished product shows incredible promise from these two young writers.

Excellent; can't WAIT to read the next installment.....

If you are wondering if you should purchase this first edition; as an avid reader of numerous science fiction classics, I whole-heartedly recommend it.........like many before me...........it leaves you wanting...... more

Saw the link yesterday on a twitter post. At first I was a little twisted up cause things jumped around. Once I realized it was like that on purpose I got into it a lot more. Took a read through the first 50% and dug it so I went ahead and snagged the full copy.
