Short description

So you picked up a Galaxy Note, and after playing around with it for a couple of days, you have realized that unless you use Netflix, playing movies and TV shows on it is a bit of a hassle. This guide will show you how you can put your own movies (DVD, AVI, MKV etc) onto your Samsung Galaxy Note so that you can watch them when- and where-ever you want.

Extended description

So you picked up a nice Samsung Galaxy Note tablet, and figured that with such a nice screen, it would be great for watching movies on it. Unfortunately, there are not that many options to actually obtain movies for it.
Of course you can watch videos from YouTube, but for new-release movies, you are tied to Google Video’s limited collection, or you have to wait a bit before you can access them through Netflix, which only works when you have an internet connection.
Digital Copies you get with some DVDs either do not work, or are streaming-only as well, movies purchased/rented through Apple iTunes and Amazon also don’t work, so how can you maximize the use of your Samsung Galaxy Note for movies and TV shows?
This guide will show you how you can put your own movies (DVD, AVI, MKV etc) onto your Galaxy Note so that you can watch them when- and where-ever.
