Story can be just described in one word 'realistic'. In a country where superstition is given more importance then reality ,the gist of story completely fits where Ganpat suffers his fate due to his own delusion .

Very well written and hope to read more stories from the author.

This is a very enjoyable short story, especially the main character who is not hero or a villain, but just a humble person who can be easily intimidated. I recommend reading it, especially if you want to get a glimpse of Indian's culture. This is Shetty's first short story, and he is definitely a promising writer. I'll probably keep an eye for his future publications with the hope that they are going to be as enjoyable as this one.
