A fast paced short story which lets you know something bad is going to happen immediately. You feel the need to protect those characters who have already suffered enough, but know that's not possible. You read on hoping for a twist that doesn't come. And then you ask why. Unlike the other short stories I've read by B Y Rogers the reason for Baby Boomer is not explained. An intriguing read.

this story was quite short, i expected it to be longer for the price but it was entertaining, i did find it a bit worrying having a severely disabled child myself i found it unsettling when one of the main characters had severe mental challenges due to an earlier accident and to be honest i am still unsure what happened at the end i don't want to give any spoilers but i would rate this as a three star, the storyline was ok and the ending was ok i am very harsh about endings i even slated stephen king!so to rate this as ok is in fact a compliment of sorts. i would recommend this story for those who like drama/action
