My love for science fiction started in the seventies, with series like Dr. Who, Space 1999 and Star Trek. But writers as Arthur Clarke and Larry Niven, together with the German SF series Perry Rhodan, really turned it into a serious addiction.
I started writing for the Dutch SF, Fantasy and horror magazine SF-Terra in 1995 and became chief editor around 2005. In the same time I grounded Uitgeverij Macc (Macc Publishing) and released the first part of the horror series Shadajaël. At this moment we have not only the second part of this series, but also the first Dutch Perry Rhodan novel in a lot of years.
Besides my work for SF-Terra I've been a jury member for the Dutch Wrting contest Unleash award for several years.
I did a lot of interviews over the years, not only with authors, as the late W.J. Maryson, Tais Teng, Stan Nicholls and Dracula's Bram Stokers great great grand nephew Dacre Stoker (You can see this interview on You Tube) but also musicians as Joe Satrinai, Jan Akkerman, Snowy White and Jeff Wayne.
