I had put in a zipper that ran from the open back to mid-thigh, to make the dress as form-fitting around the hips as possible. This gave me pause. “Are you, uh, wearing anything underneath?” I asked Felix.

His smile at me in the mirror was teasing, impish. “You’ll find out.”

My god, I couldn’t deal with much more of this cocktease. I put both of my hands on Felix’s hips firmly, running my fingers down carefully to find a seam of underwear. “Not the circumstances I thought I’d be undressing you under,” I murmured.

Finally, it was Felix’s turn to be at a loss for words. He arched to push into my touch, reached for the zipper himself, but I swatted his hand away. “You asked me to undress you,” I said, “and then we’re putting you in that skirt you like so much.”

“And then?” he prompted, face flushed but eyes glittering.
