Kay does everything she can to keep her past in the past. She rains the adoration she longed for as a child onto her daughter, while doing her best to give Lauren a life she was unable to have.
But no matter the reassuring love, Lauren resents her mother for repeatedly moving them. She feels there's no excuse for a childhood full of new beginnings.
Now Kay is fighting what seems to be a losing battle against a corporation that protects a man hell-bent on hurting her. She is backed into a corner where her long-lived daydreams and reoccurring nightmares are forced to resurface.
