Short description

If you've ever tackled a mound of laundry taller than you, made reservations instead of dinner, turned to prayer to deal with your teenage daughters, and accidentally wet yourself laughing at your best friend, then you'll like God Has Better Things to do Than My Laundry (and Other Observations by an Overly Dramatic Mom).

Charming Read:

Curling up with this book is like chatting with an old friend with whom you can laugh, cry, and share juicy stories that you can both relate to. If you are a mother, you will appreciate the subtle, and sometimes not-so-subtle insanity that often creeps in during your children's teen years. I found this book easy to read and enjoyable to the end. It's a perfect little night cap at the end of a hectic day.

Review by: Sinara Ellis on July 24, 2012 : star star star star star
Neurotic middle-aged drama queen, and mother, Heather Nestleroad has created a book of her blog posts stories that was entertaining and heartfelt.

She is devout in her religious beliefs, responsible (yet amusing) child-rearing skills, the love for her husband and her dislike of orange clothing. She is not Martha Stewart, but never claims to be. She's also not a pioneer or camper, although it's funny to read her experiences both reality based and imagined.

For a debut collection it was fun and hit close to home when she spoke of dealing with teens and the thought of her kids leaving home I have 3 gone and 1 to go so I feel your pain. Thank you for a wonderful read, Mrs. Nestleroad.
