Extended description

A British family move to France in the 1990s. This book is a true story and is of interest to all mothers and all Francophiles.
"A Call From France" revolves around Debbie, the daughter who, despite an idyllic childhood, runs away from home with a French Algerian who gets her pregnant. She is not seen for four years. It is a gripping tale of love and devotion, and shows the lengths a mother will go to for her own child.

Catherine Broughton went to London University where she did a BA (Hons) in French, and she later achieved a BA (Hons) in Art History. She is a published poet and artist and has written four other books. She divides her time between Belize, France and the UK.
