About Brendan Carroll

Brendan Carroll was born and raised in Southeast Texas and now lives in the East Texas Lake Country. Throughout his scholastic career, he wanted nothing more than to tell a good story, get a few laughs or give a few frights. After high school, he joined the US Navy and spent the next four years serving the country in the fighter training squadron VT-86 out of Pensacola, Florida. In college, he majored in Environmental Science and Geography with a minor in Geology and ended up with a teaching certificate for Secondary Earth Sciences. After one year of teaching fourteen and fifteen-year-olds, his desire to inspire young minds was laid to rest and he took up a position serving the State of Texas in the Correctional Field. In his spare time, he has produced over thirty novels which are currently being published in Kindle format as well as paperback at a much slower pace. His one aim is to entertain the reader with a good tale and hope that they may get something more from his work than just a laugh, a fright or a sigh.

Fantastic read and the saga continues. Mark Andrew continues to mystify me (being split into different individuals is a bit confusing, yet fun!) as do the other characters in this book. I have to say that the most "evolved" character, in my humble opinion, is Selwig, and I am very impressed (I really like the little Tuathan Healer) :o) Some things are made clearer in The Centaur, while other things leave more questions. Still, all in all, a great story. Now the wait for Book XXIX is upon us. I think once the series is complete, I will read from the first book all the way through to the end to pull it all together in my head. If you haven't read this series yet, and enjoy fantasy, romance, and science fiction, along with a fascinating interpretation of a mix of religions thrown in, you don't know WHAT you are MISSING!
