Extended description

A girl under surveillance in a drug case is killed and a cop is left in a coma by a hit-man in high gear determined to remove loose ends. Federal politicians, Law Enforcement agency, jurisdictional disputes. An Investigator's nightmare. It's all here. Vancouver Police Major Crime Inspector David Walker, newly promoted and recently transferred is handed the case. The hospitalized cop and his two guards fall under the hit-man's hammer in rapid succession, making it clear that the killing is far from over. Bodies are piling up and so is the pressure on Walker. The Inspector begins to sweat when two of those nearest and dearest to him move into the shooter's sights.

Nice to see a murder mystery written by an ex-cop who knows police procedures and brings his experiences to this fictional story, which kept me interested to the very last page. Also nice to see a Canadian author who has written or is in the process of writing several books in more than one genre.
