After the discovery of several crystal artifacts dating back 15,000 years (chronicled in CRYSTAL GIFT, the first book of the Crystal Skull Trilogy), and the realization of the true functions of the crystal skulls (chronicled in CRYSTAL GROTTO, the second book of the Crystal Skull Trilogy), an evil was accidentally unleashed upon the planet in this final chapter of the Crystal Skull Trilogy. Dennis and Susan Mathews, and Gary Benson gained access to the lost technologies of the long past advanced civilization of Atlantis. Dennis, Susan, and Gary feel safe until a new leader of the Tri-Lateral Consortium emerges to put the entire planet in jeopardy. With a final desperate plan, the Tri-Lateral Consortium moves to capture sole control of the ancient knowledge and emerge from the shadows to exert their control over the entire planet.
