Hard Mike Hamner feared no one -- and he had the crew to back that up. His bookmaking practice did fairly well, despite hard economic times -- but the number of bad debts from losers hoping to use a windfall to dig out was higher than normal. Beating deadbeats up or killing them was somewhat satisfying, but didn't pay their debts -- so Hard Mike turned his energies to finding a better way.

Now, it just so happened that Mike was working on a couple of new ideas -- diversification, if you will. One item was the provision of young, high class prostitutes -- not underage stuff, that was too hot to handle; he needed to stock his stable with legal girls who LOOKED like they weren't quite there yet -- and had good attitudes. The other venture was something he'd seen in a video and figured would go over big live -- wrestling matches between women -- matches in which getting naked and nasty with your opponent scored points. I really enjoy this author's stories. His protrayal of submissive females is very good and the sex is good too. Not into MM stuff usually, but his limited use of it is important to the story line and therefore adds to the efectiveness of the characters. Old Hard Mike is a bad son-of-a-bitch, I can't wait for more.
