Jane Gilbert has written both for business and for fun. Part of her work involves grant writing and developing comprehensive plans for communities. Over the years she earned several awards and has been recognized by government agencies and colleges for various genres of writings. She has published children’s books, poetry, a family cookbook entitled "This Taste Bud's For You," short stories, and two books composed of diverse writing genres: "I Need Music When I Write" and "Slow Dance on the Sand." She is at work on a memoir of her “soul vacation” which took place in California, where Jane learned intriguing lessons defining what is truly essential in life.
