Great read! The characters were awesome to get to know, I have to admit Balam was one of my favorites, mostly because he’s luxuriously evil, drinking cognac and wearing designer clothing, I just really enjoyed reading about him. There was so much going on in this story and it was completely unpredictable, definitely looking forward to the next one!

I am really enjoying this book. The story line is always moving. I like books that can make me feel I'm right there watching the action. (Warcry's training for example). I look forward to the next book. Excellent read.

I can really visualize the characters in this novel. I am especially impressed on the details of each character by the author. I enjoy and appreciate novels with intricate plot twists too- like I am Warcry.

What peaked my interest about this book initially were the biblical undertones; seeing as I spent half my life submerged in theological studies. However, the character development and story line offer you a more intimate relationship with the characters that transcend superficial interests. You truly watch a man's life unfold from one existence into a destiny unrealized, in such a way that it draws in the reader to not only rally for our hero because of his placement in the book, but because you adapt his conquest on a personal level. Yes, there is a war between Heaven and Hell, and there is a very tangible role he plays, but I really felt the battle was more internal, as he struggled to find himself and fulfill the role God had placed on his shoulders. Everyone, regardless of their interest in theology, history, suspense, and everything in between will no doubt find themselves aligned with one of the many diverse and complex characters. The end of the book truly leaves a reader looking for the next in the series, and with a craving to see how the lives of these characters truly unravel. Absolutely a must read!

Join the GAME – become a warrior in the war between Heaven and Hell. Hell (and Satan himself in the form of a whimsically sadistic downright evil demon gone wild, Balam) is engineering destruction and human pain. There’s really only one dude who can (and MUST) defeat Balam and what seems like a horde of evildoers wreaking havoc on earth. Warric Reynolds (WARCRY) is calling you to join the game in this first book of a trilogy, and become a warrior in the war between Heaven and Hell. Would you be ready to take on the responsibility for saving humanity?

As a person raised in a religious household, I have always been fascinated by the various Heaven and Hell stories; so this book grabbed my attention immediately. It may have been my grandmother's threats of Hell and then seeing amazing things happen through prayer and battles of my own life. I was holding onto every word. I am be looking forward to the next book in the series!

If you are a fan of such authors as Lilith Saintcrow, you will love this book. It puts a new spin on the battle between Heaven and Hell and includes great action and character development, as well as plot twists that are absolutely appropriate, not gimmicky.
