A gem of a book. I especially enjoyed the Viking translation of 'Twas the Night before Christmas'. Thanks for helping to keep the old stories alive (and available as Ebooks!)

An ecclectic collection of folklore and legends from around the world, some of which are familiar classics, such as the Story of Gelert and Tom Tit To...moreAn ecclectic collection of folklore and legends from around the world, some of which are familiar classics, such as the Story of Gelert and Tom Tit Tot, while others a more obscure such as The Magic of the Old Monk and Twas the Night Before Christmas (Viking style), all of which are from book collections that are no longer widely available (but base on this collection they should be). A superb starting point for building a folklore collection as Halsted provides the sources for all of the tales included
