When Ellen heard Matt’s car pulled into the long, winding driveway, she walked out to the front porch to greet him. As he stepped out of his car she took a good look at him. At first, she was astonished at his features. She always imagined her blonde-haired Barbie-doll daughter to come home with a blue-eyed, blonde-haired jock who wore a college vest and carried around a football. That’s just the kind of girl her daughter was.
So she thought.
She had seen her grow up playing with her Barbie and Ken dolls and just pictured a real life version of Ken dating her. Now, as she watched Matt approach from his car, she saw he was nothing at all like a Ken. His hair was thick, black and curly. His skin was a deep olive, and his bright green eyes contrasted starkly with his black lashes and eyebrows. He was tall and well-developed, an exotic version of the football hunk. Suddenly, she remembered the other fantasies her daughter played out in the privacy of her castle-shed. Those fantasies were more along the lines of ‘Queen gets saved by an exotic prince’. Well, Matt was certainly exotic looking.
As he walked toward her, Matt smiled boyishly. “You must be Matt. I’m Ellen.” She held out her hand to greet him. As he took it he looked directly into her eyes, not shy at all. She was mesmerized by their sparkling green beauty. She couldn’t help but match his grin.”Please call me Ellen, and not Mrs. Stace’s Mom. It’s a lot easier to say.”
Matt smiled. He liked her humour immediately. “Hi, Ellen. Pleased to meet you. You look a lot like Stace. You have her beautiful hair and smooth complexion.” As he smiled Ellen noticed how his teeth shone bright white in contrast to his deep red lips and tan skin. She took his hand and was surprised at how comforting his fingers felt as they gently wrapped around her hand and beneath her delicate wrist.
She held his hand for a little too long, and when she looked down at their hands intertwined she couldn’t help but notice the contrast of his dark skin on her white flesh. A sudden flash of the contrast of their torsos mashing together invaded her thoughts, and Ellen suddenly went flush. She wondered what got into her. Beautiful summer days always seemed to have this effect on her.
Ellen quite liked the rush her stray thoughts elicited, and decided what her mind wanted to conjure was innocent enough. She let herself explore that flash thought again as she looked Matt up and down. He had delicate hands. His fingers were masculine, they had a certain ruggedness to them. Yet, she could tell through the way he used them that there was a sensual tenderness to the way they manipulated anything that they came into contact with. She pictured them cupped around her breasts, her pink swollen nipples protruding from between his squeezing fingers. She felt her body begin to react to her stray thoughts, and she quickly decided to end the day dreams. She didn’t want to risk her body giving her away.
“Phew, it’s hot out here, Matt. Come on in for a cold glass of water and tell me all about yourself.”
“Why thanks. I knew I’d like you immediately. You remind me so much of your daughter.”
Ellen smiled as she thought of how different she was from her conservative daughter. If only her daughter knew what stray thoughts she was currently prone to.
