The Book of Caradoc

Britain after the Withering. A parallel world without witches, wizards or magic. Where a small trader from the Dulwich VIB commune rose to become the Dux Bellorum, or war-leader of his day in a Britain without technology or central government. A wilderness of scattered communes among a few larger Authorities menaced by Metros where people struggled to re-create a world they barely remembered.

About James Leigh

I grew up in Kent with the Battle of Britain going on overhead. I studied at Oxford University, then taught for the University of Maryland for some years before jumping ship by going into advertising. I now live in the Yorkshire dales where I used to shoot and fish but now mainly play the piano, sing and write. Most of my books have been novels written in intervals between doing other work, but now I am concentrating on producing what I am determined will be one of the great books of the millennium.
