Still in the grasp of Andre’s demented personality as a newly turned Vampire, he vows to take her as his bride to keep her from her destiny with his master. However, thanks to Nasir, Lauren’s handsome new neighbor/classmate, she doesn’t have to endure the torture. Now that Lauren’s eyes are open to the truth, Lauren discovers that she has always been walking with Vampires. There’s a particular Vampire Elder hunting her and no one knows who he is. All the while, Ryan, Lauren’s boyfriend, returns home early from football camp. Lauren is forced to make the decision she’s not sure she’s capable of making.
