The only problem is; was she convincing enough to the Vampires assigned to watch over her? Lauren struggles with a few truths about her family, friends, and the others that walk among her. Lauren soon learns that no one is safe because everyone walks with Vampires. With Nasir as her protector, Lauren soon learns that the only way to save the people she loves is by hurting them.

But how will that leave Lauren?
