Moni a young, abandoned, white Monkey is adopted by Nana. Nana’s own baby is thought to have been taken by humans. But Moni feels that she doesn’t fit into her new troop because of her colouring and the taunts of another young monkey in the troop, so she befriends animals of different species. Her new friends, Impi the Impala and a Ground Squirrel called Suni take her on adventures, during which she learns a lot. Not only about the flora and fauna but how dangerous life can be. Moni finally begins to fit in with her new troop but cannot remember her life before being adopted but slowly things start to come back to her. The beautiful photographs of the African bush bring this story vividly to life.
