C.L. Bevill has done it again! I absolutely love the Bubba series characters!

I like C.L. Bevill. I like almost all of her books, like Bubba and the dead woman and Bayou Billy, but I'm having trouble liking this one as much. It's a nice novella about couple of kids but what is the market audience. It uses too complicated words for kids, although the length fits well. Also, the kids in the story sometimes behave much more like adults than kids. Teenagers don't like to read about kids. The storyline has too many holes for grown ups.
It's still a good story, and fun to read, but I recommend starting with other books from C.L. For example the first story in the series; Bubba and the dead woman.
