This book is being hailed as the best FPW has ever written. It's supposed to explain a lot that goes on in later works and shows a first glimpse at FPW's universe.
I must admit, I started the book with this in mind and was rather dissapointed, when it didn't knock me off my chair after a quarter or so. Nice to read ... but where's the good stuff.
Turns out, you need to read a little further. After I got through about half of it I couldn't put it down anymore.

Beautifully written, powerful, funny and horrifying all at once. A must-read for anyone who's ever read another one of FPW's works.

And I'm so glad FPW is on smashwords now, too!
