Short description

This is a collection of 15 tales that chronicle how Target the kitten becomes a junior companion to Au, a clever, inventive but sometimes grouchy senior cat. They include the tale of how Target dislocated his paw and his subsequent journey back to health, and of how Au's fascination with water led to the humans of the family having sleepless nights.

Extended description

When Ellen Whyte moved to tropical Sarawak, the land of the headhunters and home of the orang utan, she longed for cat companions but sensibly decided it would be irresponsible to take on a pet, as expat life is too uncertain.

Luckily for her, Scoop, a stray cat with a corkscrew tail, had his own ideas. After a short campaign displaying brilliant tactics and strategy, Scoop moved in. From that fateful day onwards, Scoop and his cat pals Au, Target and Guido have ruled the author’s life with firm but gentle velvet paws, proving the adage that dogs have masters while cats have staff.

For the last 5 years, readers of the national Malaysian daily newspaper, The Star, have been entertained by Katz Tales, light-hearted stories that celebrate the antics of these cats. Today the best of these stories are brought together in three new ebooks for everyone to enjoy.

Great book. If you're a cat lover you'll be able to relate to the stores. If you're not, you will be when you're done! I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

This book had me in giggles. I like all the tales but if you make me choose one, I'd pick Furry Little Beggar! Classic story of how cats train their owners.

Who says that only the Star Wars franchise can do a prequel? Katz Tales is just as addictive and the characters just as quirky, funny and lovable. Great read!
