Suspicion is earned.
Certain, reoccurring questions remain unanswered. It is impossible to ascertain which department they represent. This is no ordinary roadwork engaged in. None of the utilities are involved, definitely not the phone company. A water main has not burst, there is no gushing, no fountaining out there and the water pressure in the house is unaltered. An unsightly mess has been made of the roadway and the footpaths at both sides of the street. Gas is not available on this street; there are no mains.
Amusement should not be allowed to enter the equation but perhaps, thinking of robbing a bank, they are tunneling? If it's anything of the sort then it will take them forever, they are definitely barking up the wrong tree because the closest bank is located at the Mall, a good half mile away from here. Again, though, the situation is unworthy of humor, and, should not be made light of.
