I received a link to this book through facebook. It sounded interesting, so I popped over and downloaded it figuring I'd start reading it on Sunday. Start reading it... ha! I Started all right, and didn't even stop to go the the bathroom until I'd finished it! It's got a great plot line, and you're immediately involved with the characters. There is plenty of mystery, action, and romance to keep those pages turning. Although the book feels a little rushed and predictable, it does keep the plot moving ahead nicely, and there is a lovely little twist towards the end that might just surprise you. There are some beautiful themes woven into the story, but you never feel "stuck" reading a romance novel or a mystery, etc. It's a lovely nix of them all. I also liked that the Main female shows strength and weakness, but stays true to certain values.

I was so excited to read the preview for the next book, and simply can not wait to read it and see what happens next. It's over all well written and not riddled with the usual typographical errors that often plague books given out for free. It is indeed a finished novel that is well written and includes some comical thoughts and happenings that make you feel like the characters could be you. I would recommend this book for the Young Adults and Adults alike. I would warn parents of younger children that there are some scenes of "making out", assault, and slight gore that are fairly typical in a novel involving Vampires and Werewolves. Please read first and decide if it's appropriate for your younger reader.

It was a really enjoyable read, and I would say if you are a fan of, P.C. and Kristen Cast, Laurell K Hamilton, Rachel Meade and the like, then chances are you're going to enjoy this and be as drawn in as I was. Great job Ms. Gossett. Can't wait to read more!
