About Tim Myers

I've been writing mysteries since 1993, and have published over 20 novels with Penguin/Berkley, Penguin/NAL, St. Martin's Press, and Kensington. I write under the names Tim Myers, Chris Cavender, Casey Mayes, Elizabeth Bright, Melissa Glazer, and more. Growing up, my favorite reads were traditional mysteries, with a slant toward cozies, and that's what I write!

Review by: Nancy Beck on June 21, 2013 :
This was a really fun read, and although the story ended kind of abruptly, I still enjoyed it enough to purchase the next in the series.

What I liked most were the characters and how they interacted. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of a small Southern U.S. town. The author had the main character, Harrison Black, learning how to make candels, and I found it very interesting, though sometimes it went on a little too long for my tastes.

All in all, this was a nice airy read.
