About Newton Fortuin

Newton Fortuin is 46 and based in Cape Town South Africa. He is married to Fiona and has two children, a 25 year old daughter Rori and a 23 year old son Jarrod.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as a post graduate degree in Business.

Newton is the Chief Executive of an Innovation Company and in that capacity heads a multi-disciplinary consortium tasked with developing an innovative technology in the health and wellness sector.

He lectures graduate and post-graduate Business and IT students.

His other interests are diverse, ranging from from having an active outdoor life - including track and field training - to writing on science, philosophy, politics, contemporary events, and whatever else may inspire him at the time.

At one time he worked as a radio DJ on a local music station and Talk Show host on the largest radio station, 567 Cape Talk, and played the role of romantic hero in a movie.
