The Mission

When a homeless woman and child show up in the alleyway, Max is captivated by the child. The little one stares at him with the most amazing gray eyes Max ever saw. He's not supposed to help them. In fact, if he lets them in the warehouse, he risks losing his job as night watchman. Then he'll be out on the street, too, and yet, Max cannot turn his back on the homeless child.
