I really liked this story. It has humour, heart and goes roumping thru the "Iles" that hie back to my own roots. I will never be able to visit there, but by way of this book have glimpsed something precious. Loved the food tour also. Wish I knew what some of the ingredients are. Really good read. At first I thought it would be a bit too chick-lit for me, but it was very well balanced.
It made me laugh out loud in bits and made me hungry just reading it. Well worth a read. Reminded me of Hamish Macbeth crossed with Chocolat
