Ebook description

Iceni warrior Princess Ceridwen and Roman cavalry officer Marek come from vastly different cultures but are uniquely able to meet each others darkest desires. A perfect match, they plan for an idyllic life together once Marek’s time with the legions is up. Political change suddenly puts them in opposition, however, when Nero declares Britannia a province and forces the Iceni and Romans to war.

This is a combination of historical fiction and romance. I don't consider it historical romance as the history takes up more of the book than usual for that genre. The depiction of the political influences is interesting and dominates parts of the book. Assuming that the author has done good research, it is an enjoyable way to learn more about the period. It does have a HEA ending for the romance.
I got this on a free deal. The posted price of $9.99 seems steep for an e-book.
