I truly was delighted at finding out what the author had spun the vampire mythos into. Extremely intriguing idea and the story was fun to read minus one character that I wanted to strangle or drop off a building. Amber was dumb. Box of rocks dumb. I could not find anything about her to like or to deem her worthy of the attention either of the 'good guy' male characters gave her. I'd still give this one 4 stars in spite of my absolute hatred of how one of the main characters was written simply because the spin on vampire lore is brilliant.
