A lot of things surprised me about this book, especially at the end ... Lol ... No; am not spoiling the surprise - but the characters are believable and easy to relate even in Africa where i hail from. The Author has crafted her story and we cant help but share her fun as she writes. I will certainly be reading more books from this young Muse!

A very cute teen romance. Well written and interesting, a great short read. Apart from a few grammatical things it was fantastic, and I look forwards to reading other things by this author.

Captivating. Well-written. Engaging even- with its intimate person narrative. I'm a sucker for stories about platonic friends who grow into real passionate love. In this case it's platonic enemies (lol). The author style of writing bred life into everything, from the characters to the cheese and bacon pizza. I am never satisfied when stories are so good they leave you wanting more- in those cases I view the story as vey much incomplete but this here is a very complete and very satisfying story. You don't need more than what is written. Few authors manage that- one such book is Pride and Prejudice.

Book was really captivating. Relatable characters. Kit is so much like myself (overachiever). I loved it. But spin-the-bottle at 18? Really? Isn't that a middle school game? Can't wait to read more of your work.

This is an enjoyable novella thats easy to read and quite funny. The lead character Kit Sherlock lives the ideal life. Her personality shining through in the whitty prose Soliven wraps easily around this cute little story. I'm not usually a fan of first person narrative but it works very well here.

Our guide, Kit, leads us through her senior year at high school as she starts to reconcile feelings she isn't aware she has for her arch nemisis Andrew Alleyn. Alleyn is one of those people who has it all. Good looks, great friends, all star sportsman and great academic. Just the person someone in the number two slot would love to hate.

Soliven does a great job in managing the translation from rival to something more in her writing.  A few grammatical errors caused me to reread the odd sentence but the narrative style and engaging nature of the story made such mistakes easily forgivable. She has a deep understanding of the teen mind and a great way with dialogue in her story. It was clearly the gifted narrative that sold me on this story and I look forward to reading more from this gifted young author.
