This is a great short story, which I would recommend to those who are fans of Anderson's and/or Peart's writings. If you aren't a fan yet, you will be. Hopefully these two will collaborate again someday.

A great chilling tale from veteran sci-fi pro Kevin J. Anderson co-written with Neil Peart (an experienced lyricist and now book author, but this likely marks his first fiction sale). The story could easily fit into an episode of The Twilight Zone - well written and effectively haunting.

I found this to be a quite nice little short story. It reminded me of the stories told around a fire at night camping. I would recommend this to anyone.
