Ebook description

Thirteen year old Gracie Garcia (better known as GG) is not the picture of popularity. She has nonexistent boobs, an even bigger butt, and is thirty-thousand feet taller than all of the boys at her school. GG is a quintessential drama queen. She craves acceptance but is met instead with disdain by Streeter Junior High School’s queen, Rebecca Stine, and her posse of pathetic posers.

Wow! As a mom I loved it bc it highlighted the raw emotions and irrational behavior and thoghts of kids this age. Its easy to think they are little adults. I have one daughter who is a reader like me so we connect over books a lot.I'm excired because this book might just be the perfect book for my 12 year old and I to share. This book has great lessons for adults and kids so don't NOT read it bc its a kids book. I think I might have resolved some residual 8th grade trauma :)

This book is a delight to read. GG is so full of vim and vigor...she's the girl we all wish we had been growing up! The dairy format really makes you feel like you are there with her through her joys and sorrows. I really felt that she presented a strong female Hispanic character, something that is lacking in so many books for teens. I really enjoyed how she matured through the pages of the book, learning how to deal with her problems and learning that...Oh, you'll have to read that yourself! :D
