James Tolk is in a coma-state after being involved in a mysterious car accident. He can't seem to wake up. His wife and his best friend is by his side in the hospital room, confused, sadden, and guilty. They try their hardest to wake James up.

In James's mind, though, he is conscious and attempts to piece everything together to why he can't wake up. His feelings guide him along through memories.

Inspired and based on Ayreon 'The Human Equation.'
