After long time, I have gone through a novel, which has flow, melody & song of life. Thanks to the author who has described nicely problems and after effects of partition of our country in 1947. The author being doctor has described patient’s condition in such a way that the reader feels as if he is sitting in the room of the patient watching the last moments of the brave lady. The author was successful to convey message that one should face bravely all odds of life, which has ups and downs .She, deserves full marks

I liked the book because when i was a child our family had witnessed the partition. This book describes how families were uprooted. After partition luck smiled on some and some were shattered as they could not flourish.Author has depicted it well.
