Description

Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 applies to India and Indian citizens anywhere in the world. This Act, commonly called FCRA, was designed to prevent flow of foreign funds to political parties in India. Later, it was modified and extended to ensure that such funds were not routed through NGOs and charities.
